| Q | | Why is my GT-5020, GT-5010V and GT-7020 flashing "Heat 2"?

| A | | The GT-5020, GT-5010V and GT-7020 are capable of working with furnaces that have two stages of heat. There for if your furnace is equipped with two stages of heat (w and W2 wires connected) the thermostat will turn on the second stage of heat if your house is not up to temperature within 10 minutes and will run both stages of heat until the set temperature is reached, during this time the "Heat 2" will flash. If you do not have a second stage of heat it has no effect on your furnace operation.
