GemTech thermostats are compatible with most HVAC systems: Heating systems that use oil, gas, propane, electric, hot water, zoned heating/cooling, air conditioners, and heat pumps with or without auxiliary heat.

GemTech thermostats are not compatible with 2 stage compressor heating or cooling.
